Suitable for unmanned vehicles and other ground, sea, air, and space applications, the RP-26401000N0 and RP-2621X000 solid-state power controllers from Data Device Corp. (DDC) include on-board DC-to-DC converters, a command interface, and digital discrete control capability for vetronics power management. The devices need no external bias supply, and include features such as a serial RS-485 bus interface option. The RP-26401000N0 has eight channels, and 25 amps per channel with 200 amp total power. The RF-2621x000 has 16 channels and 8/10/25 amps per channel, with 238 amps total power. DDC's solid-state power controllers provide advanced programmability, automated power control, and automated prognostic and diagnostic reporting. The cards offer intelligent power management such as over-current protection, programmability, load monitoring, and network control. They also provide size, weight, and power (SWaP) savings, with higher reliability and longer life compared to electromechanical circuit breakers and relays. Data Devices Corp
