FORT COLLINS, Colo.— Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. announced the winners of the company’s Service Center Scholarship Program that was designed to generate a pipeline of industry talent, as well as offer opportunities to individuals looking to begin careers in the technical field of electronics manufacturing and repair.

The 2018 recipients of the Service Center Scholarship are Dalton Christensen, studying Electronics Systems Technology at Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Neb.; and Joe Littlefield, studying Robotics and Automation at Pikes Peak Community College-Colorado Springs in Colorado Springs, Colo. Dalton and Joe were selected based on their submission of transcripts and current GPA, a letter of recommendation, a resume and a short essay response.

“An important part of what we do at Advanced Energy is to support our communities, including our students, which is made clear through our partnerships with various educational institutions,” said John Williams, general manager, global services at Advanced Energy. “In order for the electronics manufacturing and repair field to flourish, a strong crop of talented individuals must take the reins. We are thrilled to be able to support Dalton and Joe in the next steps toward rewarding careers.”

Upon completion of the internship period, the students will receive a job offer for a full-time position as a test technician.
