CAS DataLoggers released the flexible and powerful AEMC Power and Energy Data Loggers, ideal for electricians, engineers and contractors working in building/system monitoring and upgrades as well as residential energy audits. These cost-effective products have high speed and a removable SD memory to suit your specific application.
The AEMC PEL 102 is a low-cost one, two (split phase) and three phase (Y, Δ) power/energy data logger. The portable datalogger records, stores and analyzes all vital energy data every second to identify power issues with electrical equipment, find energy savings areas, track occupants for energy costs, and many more applications. For clear data organization and presentation, reports can be generated with only minimal configuration and effort.
LCD Display Model:
For graphing in the field, the AEMC PEL 103 three phase data logger adds an integrated display showing currently-recorded data. The data logger’s 67x55mm backlit LCD display features adjustable brightness and contrast and shows measurement values, units, and a phase indicator. Navigation is easy using the information display bar, mode selection, and bar graphs. The graphs show load factor Min/Max and the % of full range or full load as programmed into the PEL103. Using the free software, users can also produce reports with only minimal time and effort.
Compact and Portable
AEMC’s compact design enables PEL dataloggers to be quickly installed in a load center panel (including all current sensors) and still allow the door to close on most panels. AEMC PEL loggers offer all the essential functions for logging power/energy data from most electrical power networks in use today, measuring and recording three voltage inputs and current inputs, Watts, VARS, VA and energy (kWh and kVA).
The 3 phase datalogger also records and calculates power factor, displacement power factor, crest factor, frequency and Total Harmonic Distortion (THD). The logger also enables measurement, calculation and display of the harmonics up to the 50th order for 50/60 Hz and 7th order for 400Hz. All power and energy variables are recorded and stored at a one-second interval and on user-selectable demand intervals from 1x/ minute to 1x/hour.
All connected current sensors are automatically recognized. Energy costs can be quickly calculated and displayed just by specifying the unit cost for a kilowatt hour. Data is stored on a removable SD card and can also be retrieved using a USB, Bluetooth and/or Ethernet (local or internet) connection or transporting the SD card back to the download PC.
AEMC PEL data loggers include FREE DataView® setup software providing fast configuration and the ability to view/retrieve data from several hundred PEL instruments on a local network or over the internet. For example users can evaluate energy usage on a department or facility basis anywhere in the world. DataView® also allows viewing of real-time measurements and stored data downloads for analysis and report generation.
