    Stackpole's PV Series is a plastic-encapsulated surface mount transient voltage suppression solution for working voltages up to 300vrms. The PV Series offers two case sizes: 3225 and 4032, which have equivalent electrical parameters to leaded disc types of size 5 and 7 respectively. The PV Series varistors are UL recognized with the capability to handle up to 30J of energy and maximum surge current ratings up to 1200A. The PV Series is flameproof per UL 94V-0. It is ideal for various applications, including power supplies, telecommunications, home appliances, utility meters, controls, detectors and sensors, and touch screens. Pricing for the PV Series is size and tolerance dependent and ranges from $0.28 to $0.415, each in full reel quantities.
