In this video a Panasonic representative demonstrates a QI magnetic-induction wireless power solution that delivers 5V at 1A for Power Systems Design at PCIM 2014. he also demonstrates they can transmit up to 10W in non-Qi end-to-end custom setups, and also demonstrates the security features of the solution.
