Lattice Ships 15 Million Power Manager Devices

Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: LSCC) today announced that it has shipped more than 15 million Power Manager devices. All seven Power Manager devices have been broadly adopted in a wide range of high volume, cost sensitive applications because they enable board designers to integrate the multiple power management functions of a circuit board into a single programmable device. Integration reduces overall system cost by eliminating duplicate functions; for example, the multiple precision voltage references that are required in discrete designs. "The Lattice POWR607 device has the widest use in our systems' localized power management due to its low cost and high functionality value," said Alon Michaeli, Director of Engineering at MRV Communications. "We selected these devices because of their ability to integrate multiple types of analog and digital functions while reducing the BOM and therefore the overall cost of the system.
