    Offers ultra-low full-load dropout voltage.
The ISL80101 1A LDO offers excellent load transient response, resulting in the high AC accuracy and signal integrity.

Intersil launches new low-voltage LDO linear regulators

    07/27/2012

Intersil's ISL80111, 112, and 113 provide 1 A, 2 A, and 3 A output currents and are optimized for precision low-voltage regulation. Each includes a low resistance NMOS pass transistor allowing, for example, the ISL80113 to deliver a 75-mV dropout voltage at 3 A. The devices' 1.6% output voltage accuracy, 80-dB PSRR, and 100-uV rms noise result in exceptional output voltage regulation. The LDO regulators also deliver excellent transient response, minimizing output capacitance requirements. All three LDOs have identical footprints, giving designers flexibility with load current demands that often change during product development. Features and Specifications

    • 1.6% output voltage accuracy across all operating conditions
    • Only 10 uF output capacitance required versus up to 100 uF with competing products
    • VIN range of 1.0 to 3.6 V and VOUT of 0.8 to 3.6
    Pricing and Availability The ISL80111, 112, and 113 are available now in 3 x 3 mm 10-lead DFN packages, with prices starting at $0.99 (1000) for the 1A ISL80111, $1.32 (1000) for the 2A ISL80112, and $1.65 (1000) for the 3A ISL80113 regulators. Intersil Linear-regulation deep link
