High Current Shunts Add 25 Milliohm Resistance Value

    04/24/2019

RALEIGH, NC - The popular HCSM2818 from Stackpole is a molded, all-metal element shunt capable of handling up to 5W of power at temperatures up to 100 degrees C. A 25 milliohm value with TCR of 25 ppm has recently been added to the existing values of 4, 5, 10, 15, and 20 milliohm values.

The RoHS compliant HCSM is completely lead and halogen free.

The HCSM has excellent long-term stability and is AEC-Q200 compliant. The expanded value range makes the HCSM well suited for a wide range of power supply and control applications, power modules and inverters, motor controls, battery backup systems, HVAC equipment, and current sensors for hybrid power sources.

Pricing for the HCSM2818 depends on tolerance and ranges from $0.40 to $0.45 each in full package quantities.
