Groundbreaking and imaginative fashion-forward technologies are ready for their runway walk at the FashionWare show presented by Living in Digital Times at CE Week NY. This year’s event will bring together designers, accessory makers, and smart wearable tech.
The live runway show will take place on June 24th at the Metropolitan Pavilion at 5:30pm. After the show, press are invited to come backstage for a behind the scenes look at all the fashions and wearables seen that day. Designers will be on-hand to discuss all their technologies and give an in-depth look at how the fashions were created.
“Our bodies are the showcase for the next generation of CE devices,” said Robin Raskin, founder of Living in Digital Times. “We continue to see designers push the envelope with creations that use everything from sensors, 3D printers, Arduino chips, LEDs and even brain controllers. From one-off prototypes to commonly available wristwear, eyewear and accessories, wearable technology is making a fashion statement.”
The FashionWare runway show is an extension of the Wearables Pavilion at CE Week Exhibits, June 24-25 at the Metropolitan Pavilion. On-lookers will see everything from the hottest wearable cameras and pet trackers to sophisticated smart jewelry, vibrant LED jackets and stylish activity trackers.
