TDK announced that its subsidiary, EPCOS Limited in China, has received the Excellent Service Award 2012 from Huawei Device, a leading Chinese manufacturer of mobile handsets and network terminals. The award recognizes outstanding performance in the areas of customer service and on-time delivery. The EPCOS products supplied to Huawei Device include SAW components, RF front-end modules and multilayer varistors for mobile phones and mobile broadband products, as well as surge arresters for the protection of fixed wireless terminals, broadband modems, set-top boxes and routers. Huawei Device is a subsidiary of Huawei Technologies, China's largest and one of the world's leading manufacturers of telecommunications equipment.
