In this episode of PSDtv Cree shows an advanced solar inverter design using Cree Silicon Carbide (SiC) power semiconductors for Power Systems Design at APEC 2015. SiC MOSFET technology enables reduced size, weight and cost for PV inverters, from 20 to 50% when compared with silicon, while at the same time maintaining or increasing efficiency.
