AVX Corporation, a leading manufacturer of passive components and interconnect solutions, is exhibiting at the annual Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exhibition (APEC), which will take place in Charlotte, NC, March 15–19, 2015. Eight of AVX’s top engineers and technical product managers will be onsite at booth #321 to provide attendees with extensive information about the three new products and series extension that AVX will debut at the show: a new contact for harsh environment applications, a new MLCC series for UHF band applications, a new tantalum capacitor series for industrial, telecommunications, and aviation applications, and new TMJ S1gma series tantalum capacitors for critical and enhanced-reliability applications. The AVX team will also discuss how their wide range of specially engineered products continue to push the limits of miniaturization and enable more efficient and higher power conversion with minimal noise.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of APEC, which focuses on the practical and applied aspects of the power electronics business, and is internationally recognized as the premier event in applied power electronics. Featuring a record-high participation rate of 239 exhibitors from both North America and abroad, APEC 2015 will showcase a variety of cutting-edge power electronics technologies, products, and solutions.
“We are excited to once again engage with critical members of the power electronics community at APEC, as well as to introduce them to our latest products, and to participate in the many valuable educational and networking opportunities that the conference and expo provides,” said Chris Reynolds, AVX technical marketing manager.
