    Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas Expert to Present on Software Validation at Freescale Technology Forum

    For most engineers, meeting stringent regulatory requirements for software validation can be a downright demanding process. To help save valuable time and money, Jim Carver, technical director of advanced architectures for Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas, a business region of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), will present helpful time- and cost-saving measures at the Freescale Technology Forum (FTF) Americas. The FTF will be held this year in San Antonio, Texas, June 18-21. Carver's presentation will demonstrate how utilizing the advanced debug features of the Freescale Kinetis family of microcontrollers can accelerate the software validation process. His talk, "Software Validation in Medical and Safety Critical Systems," takes place on Tuesday, June 19 at 4:15 p.m. in the Grand Oaks Ballroom.
