With the SCDG4B0100, ALPS ELECTRIC EUROPE GmbH complements its card connector series with an additional model for SD Memory Cards, Multimedia-CardsTM, Memory SticksTM, and xD-Picture Cards. The surface-mountable 4-in-1 combine type card connector is available as standard-mount version. It is remarkable for its low-profile design with dimensions of 29.7mm x 37.85mm x 4.2mm (W x D x H) and an ejection stroke of 5mm for the storage media. For enhanced user-friendliness, the combine type connector is realized as push-push type, which allows for easy handling through manual insertion and removal of the memory cards. Thereby the SCDG4B0100 guarantees an operating life of 5,000 insertion/removal cycles. The operating temperature ranges from -10°C to +60°C. Further technical specifications include a maximum initial contact resistance of 200m? at the connector contacts and 600m? at the detection switch, an insulation resistance of up to 1,000M? and a voltage proof of 100VAC per minute. The 4-in-1 combine type card connector complies with the RoHS (Restriction on Hazardous Substances) directive. It is suitable for reflow soldering and is available in minimum packing units of 300 pieces. For automatic mounting, the SCDG4B0100 is packaged on embossed tape with a width of 56mm.
